Auction question
Searching is currently disabled so I ask...
When selling an item, two questions asked are "reserve price" and "buy now". What do those two things mean? Thanks! |

Reserve Price - Minimum price you are willing to sell the item for. You can list an item at 1000 gold, but if you really don't want to sell it for anything less than 15,000 gold you can put a "reserve" on it. If the reserve price is not met than the auction will close with no winners.
Buy Now - Let's people know right from the start the minimum price you are looking for for the particular item. An auction is still possible as they can choose to bid lower which turns off the Buy it Now but at least they know what price you are looking for as a Reserve is hidden. Buy it Now Only - If you don't want to do an auction but have a firm price set in mind. You don't want to go above or below, say 15,000, so you can do a Buy it Now Only and there will be no auction just the ability for a buyer to buy the item outright. |
